Stewardship

"Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, 'In what way have we robbed You?' In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed Me, even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this," says the Lord of hosts, "If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it."- Malachi 3:8-10 NKJV

Stewardship is the embodiment of our love for God through offering our time, talents, and monetary giving/tithe, along with our hearts inner most desires or things we value most in life. As Christians we are to be good stewards and managers of all that we own. In doing so, God will bless us not just financially but in other aspects of our lives as well (health, shelter, transportation, family, and friends...).

"Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else's property, who will give you property of your own?"- Luke 16:10-12 NIV
